do hereby appoint , or, if he or she is unable to serve, , with full power of substitution, as my proxy to attend and vote on my behalf at any meeting of the members of the Highland Plantation Owners Association, Inc. — including any special meeting and any adjournment, continuation, or rescheduling of it — with full authority to vote on all matters as my proxy sees fit, including the election of directors.

This proxy is revocable. It takes effect on the date signed below and, under Bylaws §2.10, automatically ceases eleven (11) months after that date, or earlier upon: my written revocation delivered to the Secretary of the Association; my signing of a later-dated proxy; or my attending the meeting and voting in person. This proxy supersedes any earlier proxy I have given and shall be filed with the Secretary of the Association.

The date is required. Under Bylaws §2.10 a proxy must be dated to be valid — an undated proxy can be rejected.
